HOT WHEELS LET’S RACE LOGO DESIGN
While at Mattel, I had the immense opportunity to design and execute the logo for the first-ever Hot Wheel’s animated series to hit Netflix: Hot Wheels Let’s Race! Working with Mattel TV and Netflix, I developed a series of logo concepts capturing the spirit of Let’s Race: the fast-paced, high octave, thrill of racing in addition to the unique futuristic feel and aesthetic that is unique to the series’ take on the iconic Hot Wheels City. Accompanied with a strategic pitch deck, this logo ran through Mattel and Netflix’s leadership approvals in record-breaking time and subsequently became and internal case study sharing insight around research, strategy, and pitch development.
The final selected logo direction was then built out in both stacked and unstacked executions for optimization across Netflix’s platform, as well as for use on packaging for the accompanying product line and all marketing assets.
